About Burl & Griffin
Welcome to Burl & Griffin!
At Burl & Griffin, located in Canberra, Australia, we specialise in creating stunning custom wood tables and boards that serve as true centrepieces, bringing people together for meaningful conversations. Every handcrafted piece is designed to bring people together with mates around meals, meetings, and meaningful moments, which aligns with my mission to start the conversation about men's mental health. We also donate 10% of all profits to Australian men’s mental health charities.
Let me introduce myself. I'm Josh, the craftsman behind Burl & Griffin. A little about me, I'm not just a craftsman; I'm a dad, firefighter, and passionate about mental health for personal reasons. When I was 19, I lost my dad to suicide. That loss fuelled my commitment to making a difference, not just in my mental health but in the lives of men struggling with mental health. For the past decade, I've worn the hat of a youth mentor, guiding young minds through the twists and turns of life. It's been a humbling and rewarding experience that has shaped my perspective.
So, welcome to our space, where creativity, wood, and compassion find form. Follow Burl & Griffin on Instagram @burlandgriffin and Facebook for a glimpse into our creative works. Explore our site, browse our projects, and feel free to reach out for a custom creation, because here, it's not just about wood, it's about stories, resilience, and making a positive impact on men’s mental health.
Cheers,
Josh
